From time to time, Cargill, Incorporated, through its Diamond Crystal Salt Co.® brand, may offer one or more sweepstakes in which an entrant may subscribe to the Diamond Crystal Salt Co.® e-mail list during the “Sweepstakes Period” to obtain one (1) additional bonus entry after submitting a standard entry or an alternative method of entry (each, a “Sweepstakes”). Each Sweepstakes is subject to its own Official Rules that define “Sweepstakes Period” and contain all other relevant terms and conditions.

Cargill may collect the following categories of information relating to an identified or identifiable individual (“Personal Information”) as part of each Sweepstakes: name, email address, mailing address, and Instagram username or handle; sweepstakes entry and related social media interaction information; and email subscription or marketing preference information. The Personal Information implicated by the email-subscription bonus entry includes the entrant’s name, email address, zip code, and subscription or marketing preference information. The other Personal Information listed above is collected to administer each Sweepstakes, as described in the applicable Official Rules for such Sweepstakes and the Online Privacy Policy.

Participation in each Sweepstakes is voluntary, and Cargill is entitled to use and/or disclose the Personal Information obtained in the context of the email-subscription bonus entry in exchange for providing the financial incentive offered by the Sweepstakes. The financial incentive is one (1) additional bonus entry in the relevant Sweepstakes for opting in to receive promotional emails. The bonus entry is optional and is available whether the entrant used the standard method or the alternative method of entry. In connection with this incentive, Cargill uses the entrant’s email address and subscription preference to send promotional emails, as described in the Online Privacy Policy. Participants may withdraw from receiving promotional emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in a promotional email. Withdrawal will not cancel an entry already earned in a Sweepstakes or affect the entrant’s base entry or eligibility to win.

We do not assign a monetary value to the Personal Information that we collect and strive to only use that information to further our business in accordance with our Privacy Policy and this Notice of Financial Incentives. To the extent that we are required to assign a monetary value to your Personal Information, we estimate it to be reasonably related to the value of the financial incentive that we have provided to you. Cargill uses Personal Information in accordance with this California Resident Notice of Financial Incentives and its Online Privacy Policy.
