1 Ounce Silver tequila

1/2 lime (juiced)

1 Ounce Ginger syrup

Lime slice or wedge (garnish)

Salt Rim:

Lime

Diamond Crystal Pink Himalayan Salt (ground)

Fresh Nutmeg (grated)

DIRECTIONS

Instructions:

To make the ginger syrup combine ginger, sugar, and water in saucepan. Cook over medium low heat, stirring occasionally. Heat until simmering. Once simmering, turn the heat down to low and continue to cook an additional 25 minutes or until you have a honey like consistency. Remove from the heat and pass the syrup through a strainer to remove ginger. Place in a heat proof container and set aside.

(This recipe creates enough syrup to make several margaritas. Store unused portion in the fridge for later use).

On a small plate or serving dish, grind Diamond Crystal Pink Himalayan Salt and fresh nutmeg. Swipe a lime generously around the rim of a glass of your choice, before dipping in the salt mixture until coated.

Fill a tall shaker with ice and add margarita ingredients. Shake vigorously for 15-30 seconds to ensure ingredients are combined and adequately chilled.

Grab your salt rimmed glass and fill with ice before pouring over your margarita mixture. Optionally garnish with fresh lime slice or wedge.

Enjoy!
