1 1⁄4 Cup Flour
3 Tbsp Cornstarch
1⁄2 tsp Diamond Crystal Salt Co.™ Kosher Salt
1⁄2 tsp Baking soda
1⁄2 Cup Unsalted butter (melted)
6 Tbsp Granulated sugar
6 Tbsp Brown sugar
1 Egg
1⁄2 tsp Vanilla extract
10 Ounces Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 475F.
In a mixing bowl, combine the butter, sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, combine all of the dry ingredients (flour, corn starch, baking soda, and Kosher Salt).
Gently mix the dry ingredients into the larger bowl with the butter, egg, and sugar mixture. Once the batter has formed, Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly combined.
Using a 1-2 Tbsp ice cream scoop, make cookie dough balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper 2-3 inches apart.
Bake the cookies for 6-7 minutes or until the tops of the cookies get golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let them cool. (NOTE: They’ll continue to cook on the inside while they cool).
Finish with a sprinkle with Kosher Salt on top of the cookies and serve warm. Enjoy!
