INGREDIENTS

¼ cup Diamond Crystal® Kosher Salt
1 tablespoon dried thyme
Zest of 1 orange, about 1 tablespoon

DIRECTIONS

Combine kosher salt, dried thyme and orange zest in a small bowl.
Mix, using your fingers to gently rub zest into salt and thyme to release their oils.
Spread salt mixture onto parchment-lined baking sheet and allow to air-dry for several hours, or overnight, until orange zest is completely dry.
Transfer infused salt to an airtight container and label with ingredients and possible uses.
This salt blend is ideal for seasoning roasted meats, poultry, and vegetables, like Brussels sprouts.
