Buffalo Shrimp Lettuce Wraps

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients:

1 lb small to medium size shrimp, (peeled and deveined)

1 Tbsp olive oil

2 garlic cloves (minced)

1/3 cup buffalo hot sauce, (recipe to make your own below)

1 head romaine or butter lettuce

1/4 cup red onion (finely chopped)

1 rib celery (sliced thin)

1/2 cup ranch dressing

1/4 tsp Diamond Crystal Salt Co.™ Kosher Salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp paprika

Homemade Buffalo Sauce:

2/3 cup hot sauce

1/2 cup unsalted Butter

1.5 tbsp white vinegar

1/4 tsp Worcestershire

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp smoked paprika

 Diamond Crystal Salt Co.™ Kosher Salt

DIRECTIONS

Homemade Buffalo Sauce: In a medium saucepan on medium heat, add butter and gently melt. Next add the remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer. Season to taste with salt and set aside.

Lettuce Wraps: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Once the oil is shimmering, add the shrimp and garlic. Season the shrimp lightly with Kosher Salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook the shrimp flipping halfway until they are pink and opaque about 2 minutes per side. Turn off heat and add the buffalo sauce, tossing to coat.

Assemble wraps: Add shrimp to the center of a romaine leaf, then top with ranch dressing, red onion, and celery.
