Pine Tree Cheese Ball

INGREDIENTS

16 ounces cream cheese (softened)

3 cups shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup chopped green onion

1 teaspoon Diamond Crystal Salt Co.™ Kosher Salt

½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

½ teaspoon yellow mustard

½ cup finely chopped fresh parsley

3-4 rosemary sprigs

½ cup dried cranberries

Assorted crackers and pretzels (for serving)

DIRECTIONS

Using a hand mixer, beat cream cheese until completely smooth, about 2 minutes. Scrape down sides of bowl and add cheddar, green onions, kosher salt, pepper and mustard. Mix until combined.

Transfer cream cheese mixture to a piece of plastic wrap and cover tightly, using hands to form a cone shape. Refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours.

Place parsley on a large plate. Roll tree in parsley until coated. Press rosemary sprigs decoratively into tree to resemble branches. Press cranberries into tree to resemble ornaments.

Serve with assorted crackers and pretzels.
