4 tablespoons coarsely ground coffee beans
¼ teaspoon Diamond Crystal Salt Co.™ Kosher Salt (plus more for garnish)
2 cups water
1 cup whole milk
2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
1 tablespoon caramel sauce
½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Ground cinnamon (for garnish)
Whipped cream (for garnish, optional)
Place coffee grounds and salt into French press. Boil water and pour over coffee grounds. Allow to rest 5 minutes before pressing down. Set aside.
Meanwhile, combine milk, pumpkin, sugar, caramel, vanilla and pumpkin pie spice in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring mixture to boil, whisking vigorously until frothy, about 1 minute.
Divide mixture between two large mugs. Slowly, pour about ½ cup of reserved coffee into each mug. Garnish with salt, cinnamon and whipped cream.
