2 tablespoons plus ½ teaspoon Diamond Crystal® Kosher Salt, divided
1 teaspoon chili powder
Zest and juice of 1 lime
4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed
2 ½ cups water
1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped, plus more sliced for garnish
2 tablespoons agave syrup (adjust to taste)
Combine 2 tablespoons kosher salt, chili powder, and lime zest in small shallow bowl or plate.
Moisten rim of each glass using lime wedge and dip into chili lime salt mixture. Set aside.
Combine watermelon, water, jalapeno, agave, remaining chili powder, remaining kosher salt, and lime juice in blender and puree until smooth. Strain mixture using fine mesh sieve and discard pulp.
Fill prepared glasses with ice. Divide agua fresca evenly among serving glasses. Garnish with
jalapeno slices and serve.
